About Me

My life coaching journey started after some very serious health complications.

I was forced into early retirement without warning or having planned for it. I felt a sudden loss of purpose, I was stuck and did not know where to go, let alone how to get there. After much uncertainty, soul-searching and then research, I found the New Insights Life Coaching Programme, which resonated with me. And now, having qualified, I have a second career that I am  passionate about and, once again, I have found real purpose in my life.

I am Christine Jeffery, a 63 year old married mother, living in beautiful George, in the Garden Route. I have two grown up children, a lovely daughter-in-law and two gorgeous grandchildren, who mean the world to me.

In my free time, I love to walk in nature, read and spend time with friends and family. Travelling is a definite favourite, which I discovered while working in London and back-packing through Europe in my youth.

I have a B-Ed degree in primary school teaching, majoring in special needs learners.

I have a total of 33 years of teaching experience. During 11 of these years, I was the principal of private special needs school, in George, called Up with Downs. Through teaching, I found purpose in life; helping parents to come to terms with having a special needs child, and helping that child to become the best that they could be.

I believe that through these life experiences, with my knowledge and empathy, I am well equipped to help you grow, make changes and be the best that you can be.
